Print companies and manufacturers gear up for major new trade event in 2012

An ambitious new trade fair showcasing all aspects of print-related activity from a variety of influential suppliers is scheduled to take place on February 29th and March 12th at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
Entitled ‘Print Innovations’, the much anticipated trade show is being organised by event planning company, easyFairs, following on from the latter’s successful Print for Packaging show in 2010.
The new show promises to cover almost every area of activity pertaining to the print-related industries; including pre-press software applications, print equipment, quality control processes, direct marketing, and media consultancy.
Matt Benyon, managing director of easyFairs UK and Ireland, emphasised that the event will not only offer a forum for commercial discussions between print companies and manufacturers of print equipment; but is also ‘designed to attract print buyers as well as companies with large print demands and marketers’ with a view to ‘identifying the various production options that are open to them’.
Exhibitors which have already expressed a strong interest in participating in the event include Xerox Europe, Miller Graphics Corniche, Kodak, and Agfa Graphics.
Kevin O’Donnell, of Xerox Europe, said that Print Innovations would enable his organisation to:
“…start up important conversations with the right sort of people right across the print buying industry.”
Group Business Director for Miller Graphics Corniche, Alan Brown, commented that the event would provide an opportunity for his company to demonstrate how it can ‘help to enhance quality, deliver consistency and to drive efficiencies
