Research commissioned into commercial printing services

Research has been undertaken by paper supplier Robert Horne into the current state of the market for commercial printing companies. It involved surveying over 700 businesses across the UK to find out how the print business is coping with the economic downturn, compared with other types of business, and how printers are looking to weather the recession.

Xerox and BT team up to provide improve council printing service

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council has employed printing company Xerox in partnership with BT to help cut the cost of their office printing services, in a contract worth millions of pounds over five years. The aim is to cut the cost of the council’s office printing by 30% over the five years of the contract, enabling them to achieve sustainability targets, while improving security and efficiency within the organisation.
